Cheese Dip with Olive Oil and Garlic

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 ounce) tubs whipped cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup firmly packed fresh basil leaves
  • 3/4 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts or slivered almonds, optional
  • 1 medium tomato, seeded and finely chopped, optional
Directions

Thoroughly mix all ingredients together, chill and serve with an artisan bread or pita chips.
